Among the available positions, Junior Engineer (Electrical) has the highest number of technical vacancies, with 167 posts, while Data Entry Operator accounts for the largest number of vacancies overall, with 609 posts. The recruitment drive will cover the Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company, Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company and Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company.
Of the 609 Data Entry Operator vacancies, 95 are in the Generation Company, 64 in the Transmission Company and 450 in the Distribution Company.
Online applications opened at 8 pm on November 6. Eligible candidates can submit their applications and pay the required fees until 11:55 pm on November 26. Applicants can pay the fee through net banking, credit cards, debit cards or UPI.
Only native residents of Chhattisgarh will be eligible to apply for Class III and Class IV positions. Candidates applying for common posts across the three companies will also have to specify their order of preference among the companies.
The technical vacancies include 26 Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) posts, 92 Assistant Engineer (Electrical) posts, 10 Assistant Engineer (Electronics and Telecommunication) posts, two Assistant Engineer (Computer Science) posts, two Assistant Engineer (Information Technology) posts and 20 Assistant Engineer (Civil) posts.
The recruitment notification also includes one Fire Officer post, three Security Officer posts, six Shift Chemist posts and three Programmer posts.
For Junior Engineer positions, the vacancies include 12 posts in Mechanical, 167 in Electrical, nine in Electronics and Telecommunication, one in Computer Science, one in Information Technology and 26 in Civil.
Other vacancies include six Sub Fire Officer posts, 10 Security Inspector posts and 19 Security Sub-Inspector posts. The company will also recruit candidates for Attendant Plant Grade-II positions, including 84 Fitters, 36 Turners, 90 Electricians, 45 Instrument Mechanics and 45 Electronics positions. Additionally, 45 Fire Attendant Grade-II posts are available.
The remaining vacancies cover several managerial, administrative, medical and technical positions. These include 15 Assistant Manager (Finance and Accounts) posts, 15 Medical Officer posts, eight Assistant Legal Officer posts and eight Assistant Industrial Relations Officer posts.
The recruitment drive also includes 12 Stenographer Grade-II (English) posts and 13 Stenographer Grade-II (Hindi) posts. Other vacancies comprise six Assistant Lab Technician posts, 25 Assistant Pharmacist posts, 18 Assistant Staff Nurse posts, three Assistant Radiographer posts, five Assistant Dresser posts and three Assistant ECG Technician posts.
With 1,501 vacancies spread across 38 categories, the recruitment drive offers opportunities in technical, administrative, operational and medical positions across the three Chhattisgarh State Power companies. Candidates seeking government-sector employment in the state can submit their applications within the November 26 deadline, subject to the eligibility conditions specified in the official notification.
